As Baltimore native and NBA swingman Will Barton looks for a third-straight Brunson League title as a member of PTF, Wooter Apparel returns as the official jersey sponsor for the marquee Pro-Am with games getting underway on June 2 at Digital Harbor High School in Baltimore, Maryland.
When the Harford Bucs slip on their custom made green and white jerseys from Wooter Apparel and step on the court on June 2 at Digital Harbor High School in Baltimore, they’ll be just one of 19 teams vying for the chance to dethrone back-to-back Brunson League champ Will Barton (Denver Nuggets) and Protect The Family (PTF).
It won’t be an easy task by any means.
Just ask Aquille Carr and the Family Over Everything (FOE) squad who went blow-for-blow with PTF in last summer’s Brunson League championship game before Barton dropped a cool 42 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in the winning effort.
“We’re going to win this however long we’re in the Brunson”, Barton said after the victory at the Brunson League.
“First team to ever go back-to-back, I don’t care who [other teams] bring to play us. I don’t care what the matchup is, we’re going to win, win, win.”
If Barton and PTF are going to make in three-straight they’ll be doing so in a new gym (Digital Harbor High School), with new dudes gunning for their spot, all while rocking freshly designed and created jerseys from Wooter Apparel as the 2019 Brunson League season gets underway. It doesn’t get much better than that. By looking around the Pro-Am summer scene from Los Angeles (Drew League), to Washington DC (Goodman League), New York (Dyckman League) and all points in between (San Francisco Pro-Am, Atlanta Entertainment Basketball League, Ohio’s BRICK League, and the Entertainer’s Basketball Classic and Nike Pro City Run in New York, among others), the Brunson League simply stands out as the Pro-Am to watch again this summer.
Behind The Jersey: While the Brunson League uniforms last summer featured bold font lettering across the front of the jersey and the Baltimore skyline on the trim of the shorts, this year’s jersey features script lettering, the Brunson League logo on the shorts, and a more vast color scheme for teams competing for a Championship.
This year is different. With Brunson League in script across the front of the jersey and a richer color palette, you just might see a certain Baltimore native and NBA player from Denver dripping in another Brunson League jersey on his way to the arena.
Created by Morgan State grad Sean Brunson in 2013, this year marks the third occasion where the Brunson League and Wooter Apparel have teamed up to ensure the players on the court look as smooth as the game itself. Along with customizing the jerseys and uniforms for last summer with “Brunson League” represented across the front of the jersey in bold block lettering and the shorts featuring Baltimore’s skyline, Wooter also provided the Brunson League with its uniforms worn by a select team who competed in the DC games against the Goodman League in Washington DC and the PITTS League in New York two summers ago. In addition, players and fans alike can track all of the action and stats thanks to Wooter developing the Wooter App for teams and leagues like the Brunson League.

The “rest of the world” in this case is Baltimore and the Brunson League. Before the start of last season, Founder and Commissioner Sean Brunson called the collaboration between the Brunson League and Wooter a “perfect match” with both sides equally sharing a passion for sports, innovation, and community.
Now with the Brunson League (make sure to follow this season on Instagram and Twitter) set to tip-off its seventh season, expect nothing less than another memorable Pro-Am in the Charm City and the chance for Will Barton and PTF to make it a “3-peat”.
